I've listened several times to Professor Mattias Desmet, clinical psychologist at Ghent University in Belgium, who holds a double degree. He also has a Masters in Statistics. My favorite quote of his was regarding the intelligence of those who help decide court cases (juries): "It didn't matter whether the jury consisted of highly-intelligent or highly-stupid people. Time and time again, one could see ..." and Prof Desmet cited long-standing work on the matter. Professor Desmet is publishing another book. Here are the listings I've found for him (to date): Photo provided by Professor Mattias Desmet and used with permission. © 2021 Caricature created, text / design created by Rose Webster (aka RoseWrites) on Dec 26, 2021.
