Remember the DDR with this retro postcard of East Germany's national airline, Interflug! Based out of Berlin's Schönefeld Airport, Interflug flew a fleet of aircraft including Aero Ae-45, Airbus A310, Antonov An-2, Antonov An-24, Dash 8-100, Ilyushin Il-14, Ilyushin Il-18, Ilyushin Il-62, and Tupolev Tu-134. Interflug flew mainly to socialist countries in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, but also included destinations such as Yugoslavia, Cuba, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Syria, Nigeria, Mozambique, Mali, Malta, Cyprus, and Albania. Upon German reunification, Interflug was liquidated.
