The term "Chrismukkah" began back in 2003 on a television show called "The " It can be interpreted as (1) the blending of Christmas and Hanukkah during the holiday season in homes where one is Jewish and one is of Christian Protestant faith. It's a way to celebrate both sides of a two-religion family and not hurt feelings by leaving the other one out. (2) Or, it is a celebration of Christmas by those who are Jewish. .....I either blended symbols or phrases. On this card, I blended the belief of Santa knows when you've been bad or good with the Jewish phrase for a jerk which is a shmendrik.
