Note from designer Mary Kunz Goldman: This is a whimsical take on the popular Bible verse, "As For Me and My House, We Will Serve The Lord" (Joshua 24:15). I paired this lovely Scripture quote with a sweet, funny illustration by the great English illustrator Randolph Caldecott (1846-1886). The illustration comes from the children's picture book "The House that Jack Built," published in 1878. Note that the back of the card gives credit to Caldecott and gives information about him. It was in his honor that the American Library Association created the Caldecott Award, given out every year since 1937 to acclaimed children's book authors. This is a light-hearted, all-occasion card. You can use it to offer best wishes on a new home, or to offer a message of encouragement, or to accompany a hostess gift, or just to say hi.
